Doreen Hackey
Doreen is a Global Human Resource Executive with excellent results in linking talent management to strategic business objectives. She has a proven track record both as an external and internal Leadership
Development Executive incorporating a multi-cultural perspective. Doreen has over thirty years of experience in key leadership positions working for several Fortune 500 global organizations such as Molson Coors, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, and Accenture.
Her extensive and practical background in building talent and developing organizational strategies bring
an ideal mix of expertise to her consulting. Her key competencies and skills include executive and team coaching, global strategic talent management, succession planning, large-scale change management, leadership education and executive development. Doreen builds customized programs based on individualized client needs.
Doreen is distinguished in her ability to assist individuals and teams to achieve insights that result in advancing their leadership capability. Her distinctive expertise is coaching leaders through successful changes in assignment, such as promotions, expanded scope of responsibility, global assignments, and integrating leadership teams resulting from mergers and acquisitions. These transitions often require re-examining one’s influencing strategies, clarifying position and personal power, acquiring organizational savvy, and building cultural competence. She has coached leaders and teams in North America, Europe and Asia with twenty-five years working with C-Suite executives.
Doreen coached and trained all levels of management from CEOs to mid-level management in such industries as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, chemicals, consumer beverages, aerospace, and health and financial services. She is distinguished in her ability to assist individuals and multicultural teams achieve step changes in gaining personal insights that result in advancing their leadership capability faster. She is recognized for helping her clients quickly move to action for improving individual and organizational performance.
Doreen earned her Ed.D. (ABD) in Organizations and Leadership, M.A. in Organizational Psychology, and M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology, each from Teachers College, Columbia University in New York. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University. In addition, she completed executive programs at Harvard University and the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a variety of certifications in leadership and coaching programs throughout her career.
